Our Story
A comprehensive support program for birth mothers navigating post-adoption
Birthmom Buddies emerged from the heartfelt journey of a Native American birth mother who identified a critical gap in post-adoption support for women like herself. Inspired by personal experience, our founder recognized the need for resources and advocacy to help birth mothers navigate the emotional, financial, and societal challenges post-adoption.
As a result, Birthmom Buddies was born, evolving from a simple vision to a dynamic organization committed to empowering birth mothers nationwide.
Our Vision
At Birthmom Buddies, we envision a society where birth mothers are not only acknowledged for their courageous choices but are also supported and championed in their post-adoption journey. Upholding values of empathy, empowerment, and inclusivity, we strive to create a world where birth mothers' voices are heard, their rights are safeguarded, and their contributions are embraced.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bridge the gap in post-adoption support, advocating for fairness and recognition of birth mothers' sacrifices.
In today's evolving social landscape, birth mothers, especially those of Native American descent, often find themselves unsupported emotionally and financially post-adoption. While adoption celebrates their selfless love, birth mothers face isolation and financial strain.
Birthmom Buddies seeks to change this narrative by providing comprehensive support to birth mothers, irrespective of their background. Our mission is to ensure that every birth mother receives the resources, care, and support she deserves, honoring her sacrifice through tangible measures.
Birthmom Buddies aims to empower birth mothers nationwide, offering them the support and advocacy they need to navigate the post-adoption phase with confidence, grace, and dignity.
Join us in our mission to create a more supportive and understanding society for birth mothers everywhere.
